2019 Visit back to the Homeland
We departed ye old Colorado around 6pm and these two goobers were excited and ready to go!
Silly Emmie has been using EVERYTHING as a telephone lately and saying "O?" (hello?) So when she was stranded in the car for a long time, she resorted to using her foot!
We just HAD to meet our new niece, baby Goldie! She is so precious and snuggly!!
Emmie was only slightly jealy beans.
For the first time in about 18 months since we got the van, we pulled out the dvd players on the back of the front seats. It worked like a charm!! Even though we brough several DVD's from the library, Lincoln chose to watch the Lorax the whole time. Probably 5-10 times lol
The girls having some bonding time
We LOVE cousin Judah!
Kelli & Goldie :)
Emmie learned how to say "cheeeeeese" for photos now and loves doing it!
Uncle Jason teaching Lincoln how to fish for the first time!!
Real worms!
He made the stick dance around so much! lol
Mining for gold
Using the old hand washing pump
Everyone had to take a bath after their toilet adventures.
Baaaaaby Goldie!!!
So Lincoln had a flash light and the two littles would follow it around like little kittens. Then, Lincoln thought it would be funny to shine the light in the toilet.....
Celebrating cousin Judah's SECOND birthday!!
The leaves in Missouri were BEAUTIFUL!
Uncle Jason painted this beautiful tooth on a pumpkin for me, complete with leaves on the side. I put it in my operatory for all of my patients to see this month! He is so talented!
Tired girl
We made it to St. Louis, Lincoln went to "nature school" in Granna and Papa's back yard and had a grand old time
Papa picked this guy up from our walk for fun and L had the time of his life!
Reading the paper like Papa
We were all very well fed! Emmie especially!
Then we had to get some pumpkins of course!
Riding the tracter in good ol' MO
Tunnel traveler
Lincoln and Emmie 2019

She loved the tire swing
14 months old
And bonding with Papa
Just like her daddy, Emmie has Papa wrapped around her teeny tiny finger!
So many pretty fall colors!
They are pretty darn cute!!
Then we visited the Magic House! I remember taking road trips there as a kid, it was SO fun to experience it again with my kiddos!
The Magic House, was indeed, magical.
But not as magical as spending time with family!
It was such an amazing and much needed trip! We are planning on making it an annual fall trip! .....just next time we will probably fly :)
