Linc turns 4!

We have a FOUR year old!

We put balloons in pretty much every room of the house for him to find (and becasue E loves playing with them too!), we even put them in the van, which L loved

Because pintrest.

Lincoln got to take home his class mascot from the Hedgehog room, Spike this weekend. We were supposed to take him with us everywhere, and here is Spike riding a dinosaur to wish L happy bday!

He got a birthday crown from his new preschool and they sang to him yesterday!

We celebrated L's bday with a dinosaur egg hunt at our neighborhood park! He found Easter eggs in the basement a few months ago and has kept talking about an egg hunt, so we did one! It was so simple to fill the eggs, hide them and have coffee and bagels for the moms! Simple and fun for everyone!

We did it on a Friday morning, basically a playdate with food :)

We have the absolute best neighbors, we are so lucky to have so many great friends in our neighborhood!

L, Jackson and Gunnar!

The whole crew :)

Finding the dino eggs. We had candy, slime eggs, and eggs with toys that were prefilled from Amazon

Off to find eggs!

We had a *Second* bday party (lucky guy!!) at the library. This one was for his besties from Riverstone. I wanted them to have some quality one-on-one time together. Plus, I have heard wonderful things about the library paries, and it definitely did not disappoint. Another factor for having two parties was because the library capped the number at 10, so we kept it contained to this great group. They got a story read to, got to play with noise sticks, dance, made THREE crafts, had food/cookies and he even got a book to take home from the library that the kids all signed!

Lucian and Charley and their older sibs :)

Emmie enjoyed herself

He dressed up as a knight for this pic, and put it by Jeremy's night stand in his room. Such a sweet heart!

This was the dino hat that he made. To me, it looks like the Trump hats lol

So happy to see his friends. He has known them since he started in the baby room (6 months old) at Riverstone

Last night as a 3 year old!

I made a flax and yogurt combo that this girl LOVES.
Side note, we had our first PIG TALES!!!!! It was SO HARD to get her to stay still, and since there is not much to grab, they are kinda messy, but it was so much fun to start fixing her hair!

Emmie climbed up on L's learning tower and was pretty proud of herself!

"I'm a big kid now!"

Emmie scaling the stairs and closing doors is her new M.O. It is probably one of my most favorite stages!

"Look mom, a PUMPKIN pepper!" Two of his favorite things = peppers and pumpkins!

Nom'ing on peas

Still nom'ing on some enchiladas. She doesn't mind the spice at all!

Doing one of big bro's new bday puzzles with dad!

We had a freak tornado in Parker on Friday. I happened to be at a doctor visit and they made us go down to the basement of the hospital for a whole hour until it went away. It happened across the street from the hospital. Everyone was okay, it was just weird. J was with the kids at home and they had to go to the basement.

Jeremy and I were talking about how high school was only four years and that seemed like forever, and with Lincoln, it has FLOWN by! The sayings are so true. At four, he is extremely curious, likes to help cook, likes to be outside and do bear hunts, likes puzzles, matching games, LOVES books, loves crafty/art things, loves Spiderman and Toystory. His favorite foods are bell peppers, zbars. Wears his boots every time we go out, because they are the quickest things we can get on so he can start his adventures! He is so good at sharing, even candy, he will offer to us, his friends and sister. He loves Emmie so much, there really aren't any jealousy issues yet, the only time he gets annoyed is when she cries and he can't hear his tv program. He still does a nap once a day, sleeps for 10 hours at night and has been potty trained, even at night since two years ago. He is my "test subject" when it comes to parenting and we are still learning so much every day, but he is so forgiving and so much fun to raise! He definitely throws us curve balls, but says the most hilarious things, like most recently "Mommy, oceans don't have walls!" Looking forward to what year four has in store for us!
