We are ready for the Chiefs to go to the Superbowl!! 

We looked into going to the game in Miami, but tickets a lone were $6k PER ticket, so we decided to not tank our children's future and not spend that $$. Not an easy decision.

The kids love washing the dishes. It really takes all I have to let them do it because they get water EVERYWHERE

Both kids are sick, but thats okay, its not nearly as bad as it was last year. And it allows me to capture sweet moments like this :)

Smile-y girl despite her fever. Linda (nanny) sent this the other day :)

This deer wanted to make a dental appointment, so she came to my boss' office yesterday

Got home after work and we ate frozen waffles while watching Frozen 2 before bed.

Today's Learning Lab #1- now to clean and respect the items in our household.

Learning Lab #2- folding towels. Lincoln got really excited about this and was eager to show off his skills.

He told dad tonight, "stick with me at the next learning lab, and I'll show ya!"

Just call it a "learning lab" and it makes it fun for them and productive for me!

Baked beans + brownie = Papa Bill's fav meal :)

Stacking conversation hearts with chop sticks to help his fine motor skills. Got these bad boys from Noodles and Company the other day.

Tried it with the tweezers too. Maybe I should have been an occupational therapist in another life.

I think part of my affinity for fine motor skills is from my background in the dental world. Perhaps he will become a dental professional one day. Not projecting my dreams on him or anything...

Tonight we played with shaving cream and food dye before bath time. I had to send Linda a text tonight to let her know that we played with food dye so she woudn't see the kids tomorrow and wonder what the heck happened, because despite the bath, they got really stained lol

Lincoln: Spiderman theme (red + blue)

Emmie: Unicorn theme (purple + pink + light blue)

Lincoln erased our entire grocery list and drew his own picture. However of all of the items listed, he left "maple syrup" located in green in the UR corner lol

New background for our astronauts.

Tomorrow is the Rocky Mountain Dental conference. Super excited to learn the latest and greatest! 

ps-Little Women was SO GOOD! You guys should all go and see it!

ps-The Denver Post had an article of a recent study that showed that Colorado was the healthiest state and within Colorado, our county is the healthiest. Kinda cool, but also due to our socioeconomic status, but again, kinda cool.
