January 10, 2020
I had a pretty bad respiratory infection this past week, but thankfully am on the other side of it. Here are a few moments from the past week:
Last weekend we went to the park, two peas in a swinging pod
Unprompted sibling love
and with that, we started a new week
Our new nanny, Linda, started on Monday, we've been getting the most lovely photo updates of their daily adventures
She says that both kids love to make her laugh.
No surprise there
L is really taking to Linda, he told her that he loves her on the second day lol
Got this cute pic of them waiting outside of L's preschool
Its SO nice to see this when I'm at work
I am starting to finally reep the rewards of conditioning my own housekeeping crew, L LOVES to wash dishes!!
He is happily filling his bottle with milk via a funnel. As you can tell by the smug smile on his face, he gets much satisfaction from being independent. Its so fun to see him learn and grow at this stage (4 y/o)
He made his bed (one of his chores) and he gets SO PROUD! He has both J and I come upstairs to view his work :)
Still using the "Plutonian bike" most nights, more often than not, L will try to hold my hand the whole time :)

We took the kids (for the first time ever) to Ikea. We are trying to organize our basement a little better and needed to get some shelving. They loved it. J and I were exhausted.
Without prompting, Emmie volunteered to help the group cause
Total daddy's girl.
The basement will probably be a month long work-in progress. Its so hard to get anything done when we both work full time.
All 3 playing with action figures, thats our new thing these days :)]
Upon clinical observation, it is determined that The Hulk is just suffering from major TMJ issues from his midline being off. So misunderstood.
"Mommy, now I know that these are not electric, but you and daddy can have one of my batman toothbrushes. They're pretty cool!" Lincoln has always been so generous, sharing his most prized possessions!
These breakfast cookies are delish! Highly recommend & B, they're gluten free :)
Ran out of shredded cheese, made due with the plethora of string cheese we had in the fridge lol
Charley is still living the good life.
Ta-ta!
Wish us luck, we are going to work on the basement some more this weekend!
