August 10, 2020: Jason & Emmie's Bday

 The Barretts are gone and we already miss them dearly!!

School starts next week for Lincoln! (Pre-K)

We went to Phillip S Miller park, Emmie didn't want to be carried, she insisted on chasing after the boys all by herself!

Emmie had a love-hate relationship with GG (Goldie Grace). She would say "HI BABY!!" in a cute little squeaky voice, and then instantly say "NO!" if she moved her arms or frowned at her!

August 5th was Jason's bday! We celebrated with Kneaders french toast brunch and then a trip to Mount Princeton Hot Springs

We owned this birthday puppy balloon for all of 45 minutes. Literally seconds after this photo was taken, Emmie went to the back yard and let it go lol

Lincoln talked about Kilwin's "rainbow ice cream" every day, so on Thursday we decided to get some!

Last sleep as a 1 year old!!!!

Okay. So I was proud of myself, I literally only got Emmie bubbles for her 2nd bday. The on her actual bday, was our neighborhood garage sale. Little Miss slept in until 10am so Aunt Kelli and I went around to the sales. Then I came back with this unanticipated Minnie bed. Great timing for a bday lol. We don't even want her out of her crib yet, so the bed is currently in Lincoln's room as Emmie's reading nook there!

....and this wooden dollhouse. Both were a steal of a deal!

Lincoln was so sweet to Emmie!!! He decorated her a chocolate cupcake and gave it to her for breakfast (without my permission!)

Living her best life. She took the Minnie sheets and insisted on wearing them like a cape! She was so proud to wear it!

What a time to be alive! Lincoln made me a coffee the other day and I highly praised him because it was so thoughtful! I've been waking up to freshly brewed coffee for the past few days and it is *awesome**!!
