House Hunters: Colorado Townhome Edition
Good morning and happy Sunday, family! I am pleased to tell you all that Jeremy and I have finally found a place to call home, in Englewood, Colorado! Yesterday, we signed a 12 month lease for a little three bedroom townhome at the edge of Englewood and Parker. It has a small yard for Charley and a garage. Jeremy has planned to convert one of the bedrooms into his “Study 1.0”-complete with a tv and strategically positioned desk/chairs, and I have my own plans for a fire pit on the patio for the cool fall nights, so get ready for our next ‘Nesting’ newsletter!
The location is perfect for us, the back yard backs up with Cherry Creek trail (an extremely long and beautiful bike/walking trail), it is very close to Jeremy’s work, close to a lot of stores that we like, and only 15 minutes away from Ikea J. We also got to meet the landlords, which seem extremely friendly and helpful. It will be a bit of a change from our current house, but overall we lucked out to find this place. Our move-in date is September 20th.
We still have a few things to figure out, like will we refer to ourselves as Englewoodians? Englewoodies? Englewoodinites? Jeremy has enlightened me that Dr Dre’s Next Episode has a part that mentions, “ENGLEWOOD. He is playing the YouTube video as I am sitting here typing. Also, our street name is Kalispell. We haven’t figured out how we want to pronounce that yet.

It is located on Dinosaur Street in Castle Rock, Colorado….Jeremy’s dream address.
